Jilain
Jilain [Djie-Laine] was born out of a passion for automobiles. The founder, "Joey Philip Salmon Oraile," saw the shift from conventional combustion engines to emission-free vehicles. He realized in 2016 that charging stations were a forgotten component. Electric cars, motorcycles, airplanes, and so on look great, but the charging station could use a change. "If you don’t like it, change it." With this in mind, he officially started Jilain in 2018.
Origin of Jilain The ancestors of Mr. J.P.S. Oraile's father come from the former Dutch East Indies. His grandfather served in the Royal Dutch East Indies Army at that time. He was a wise man and a role model for many. He often spoke of his pride: "Babar Islands." This is also the story after which Jilain is named.
Palau Babar is an island in the middle of the Banda Sea. A human needs food and water. The island has an abundance of food but clean drinking water was a problem. But if he wanted fresh water, he knew a point where you could dig. Then fresh water comes up. If they were to pollute the earth there, they would no longer have clean drinking water. That is a reason to be careful with the earth. This has to do with the electrification of current combustion engines. The road next to that place is called Jl Lain (Jalan Lain). That means in Dutch: “another way.” Jilain takes a different path than the current suppliers of charging stations. These are the roots of Jilain.
